徹底解剖！『CLASSIC ROCK AWARDS』

2016年11月、ロック界で最も権威のあるアワードである『CLASSIC ROCK AWARDS』が東京で開催される。

CLASSIC ROCK AWARDSは2005年以来、イギリスやアメリカで開催されてきたロックのアワードだ。世界的なロック雑誌とWeb媒体である『クラシックロック』誌が主催し、ロック界で最も栄誉があり、権威があるアワードになっている。

これまで錚々たるロック界のスーパースターたちが授賞式において、パフォーマンスを見せてきた。昨年2015年の受賞者はLed Zeppelin、Europe、Queenなどである。授賞式と受賞者によるライブパフォーマンスショーの2部構成になっている。2部のライブパフォーマンスでは、受賞者たちが組み合わせを変えながら、ジャムセッションを繰り広げる。普段では見られない競演で、往年の大ヒット曲を披露するのがこのパフォーマンスの見どころだ。

アジアで初となる『CLASSIC ROCK AWARDS』が、2016年11月に東京の両国国技館で開催されることが、2015年11月11日に発表された。会場にはYOSHIKI (X JAPAN) が駆けつけ、Queenの『Bohemian Rhapsody』を演奏し、東京開催を祝福した。
